DBLG – Giff Gaff Idents for E4

Firstly a big sorry to those of you who suffered during our site outage last week – we changed hosting providers and all hell let loose!  Right now that’s out the way lets look at what those identity maestros have been up to since the Channel4 rebrand

DBLG were commissioned by Giff Gaff to create a set of new sponsorship bumpers for E4. Our concept was to build and film a multi layered environment using the GiffGaff noise texture. The set comprises of snippets of the shows that are featured on E4, and the viewers are invited to interact with the dents by tweeting in messages that are displayed on the idents – using the hashtag #giffgaffE4 making them different everytime you view them.DBLG GIff Gaff idents for dotmogo 01

What is quite innovative here is that the people on tweeting duties at Giff Gaff are actually watching the shows at the same time and then interacting with the audience.
